Barbados Golf Club, located at Durants in the southern parish of Christ Church, has become the soul of golfing in Barbados for local players as well as hotel guests and visitors cruising through the Caribbean. The 18 hole course was approved and sanctioned by the PGA European Tour to host a PGA Seniors Tournament in 2003 and it has also hosted the Barbados Open on several occasions.

Designer Ron Kirby, a famous golf course architect, redesigned the course to produce a fair, challenging and a pleasurable game for golfers of all levels of skill and competence. The challenges, rewards and scenic views of the course encourage players of all abilities to play with determination and to hone their skills while enjoying the company of friends amidst tropical surroundings.
